CALL FOR PAPERS
The aim of the ERGA Conference series is to bring together colleagues from the higher education sector to discuss best practice and new approaches to teaching in the tertiary environment. The conference theme for 2010 is The Changing Face of Education.
We now invite conference presentation proposals. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
• Life after Bradley
• Integration between tertiary and secondary education
• First-Year Engagement
• Assessment
• e-learning and Blended Teaching
• Teaching Postgraduate Students
• Contributions on other education topics of interest are welcomed
PRESENTATION FORMATS & SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Individual Papers: 30 minutes (20 mins presentation; 10 mins discussion)
A submission for an individual presentation may take the form of an abstract (500 words not including references) or a full paper. Full papers will be submitted to the ERA ranked journal ergo and follow their review process. Abstracts, including those from full papers will be submitted to the ERGA conference reviewers. A book of abstracts will be published as the conference proceedings.
Panel Sessions: 60 minutes (40 mins presentation; 20 mins discussion)
Submissions for panel sessions led by presenting teams are encouraged. A panel proposal may take the form of an abstract (750 words not including references)
Review and Publication Processes
All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process. For reviewers’ criteria, see the ERGA website

The Education Research Group of Adelaide (ERGA)
ERGA is a cross-disciplinary community of educators promoting high quality University learning through evidence-based, practical approaches to teaching.
ERGA is comprised of members representing all of the South Australian Universities, and external members from across Australia and New Zealand. Our aim is to disseminate the outcomes from our research and teaching initiatives to all members of the University Community.
ERGA organises collaborative activities and professional development opportunities to encourage those interested in educational research. Chief amongst these are the annual ERGA Conference, our seminar and workshop programme, and our collaborative networking events.
